B. ‘Cumbria’ is a shrub-like begonia with large, rounded green leaves tinged with red-brown. It produces small white flowers on the end of long white stems rising above the plant. The plant is
quite hardy, tolerates some sun in mid-summer, can winter outside, and can be grown in the ground. B. ‘Cumbria’ is easily propagated by stem cuttings. It is susceptible to caterpillars in
spring/early summer as they love it.
